nanobot was created when I was in ICU Digital Media Lab in 2005

It responds to bright light and shows its feeling by the pulse of a small incandescent light and the sound of a relay .

Many use a relay for switching large current, some use it as haptic display, but I found its most interesting feature was the sound!!

elly 2, templum gallery

elly 2 is an aggregation of M.A.V.s(micro air vehicle) that contaminates viewers’ mind with their movements and spies viewers’ mind.

elly 2 responds to IR signals. 
I intentionally removed auto sensor trigger system since I found no meaning to this piece of installation. Media installation art doesn’t have to be automatic.

i love the color of wire, esp. teflon wires and this photo was used as cover page of my 2nd exhibition catalog.
